There is no officially recognized ultrasound technology called 5D.

Most businesses use the term "5D" as a marketing name for HDLive®, an advanced rendering technology developed by GE Healthcare.

HDLive uses sophisticated lighting and shadow effects to create softer, more lifelike images than traditional 3D ultrasound alone.

At The Baby Haven, we proudly offer 3D, 4D, and HDLive imaging-the same advanced technology often marketed elsewhere as "5D."

Some babies cooperate immediately, while others may be sleeping, facing Mom's back, or covering their face with their hands or feet. Because of this, we don't place strict time limits on our ultrasound sessions.

We typically allow up to 30 minutes for each appointment so we have plenty of time to encourage your little one to show off. If we're still unable to capture your baby's face, we'll happily invite you back for one complimentary rescan within 14 days when applicable.

An 8K Enhancement is an Al-enhanced keepsake portrait created from one of your baby's ultrasound images.

Using your baby's actual 3D/HDLive image as the foundation, Al enhances details such as facial features, skin texture, and lighting to create a realistic artistic interpretation of what your little one may look like.

Many parents love comparing their baby's 8K portrait with their newborn photos after birth!

Absolutely! Our studio was designed to be a comfortable, family-friendly experience, and children are welcome, too!

It depends on how far along you are.

6-14 weeks: A full bladder may help improve image quality.
15 weeks and beyond: A full bladder is generally not necessary and may actually make you less comfortable during your appointment.
